Today, we will complete the journal prompt: So far we have discussed three reading strategies-talking to the text, graphic organizers, and previewing. Rank them in order of how useful they are for you. Explain your rankings.
We will then discuss and practice the reading strategies of thinking aloud and developing questions. Today, we will continue discussing reading strategies for geography.
We will read an article on Japanese schools versus American schools, and use the strategies of previewing, graphic organizers, and talking to the text. Today, we will take an assessment on our understanding of culture, climate, and landforms.
